God. We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power and glory, who created, upholds, and governs all things.
Scripture. We believe the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice — superseding any earthly law that contradicts it.
Jesus Christ. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension, ongoing intercession for believers, and personal, visible return.
The Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates and indwells every believer, and empowers believers for ministry through the biblical gifts of the Spirit.
Salvation. We believe all people are sinners in need of grace, and that God saves those who repent and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. Salvation is a gift of grace; believers are secure in Christ as they continue in faith and obedience.
The Church. We believe in the universal church — the body of Christ, made up of all who are born again — and in the two ordinances Christ gave the church: water baptism and the Lord's Supper. We also affirm the laying on of hands for ordination and for the ministry of the Holy Spirit's gifts.
The Future. We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the body, final judgment, and eternity — heaven for those who trust in Christ, hell for those who reject Him.
Marriage and Sexuality. We believe God created each person male or female, and that marriage is the union of one man and one woman. Sexual intimacy is reserved for that marriage relationship. Scripture identifies sexual immorality in all its forms as sin, while every person is owed compassion, respect, and dignity — never hatred or harassment.
Marriage Policy. Desert Hills Bible Fellowship recognizes, and its pastors and facilities will only host, weddings between one biological man and one biological woman.
Sanctity of Life. We believe all human life is sacred and made in God's image, from conception through natural death — including the pre-born, the aged, and those with physical or mental disabilities.

Drawing from his decades of experience in the Word and with ministries around the world, Steve teaches Wednesday night Bible study and participates with the worship team. His wife, Kristin, leads the Women's Ministry.

With a heart for evangelism, Rick spent over 20 years doing ministry on the streets of Phoenix, running You Matter Ministries. Now retired from active ministry, Rick continues to share the gospel wherever God takes him. He and his wife, Delilah, have three adopted children.
